"Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it. " — David Starr Jordan
This was a quote that was sent to me today...odd huh?
So today is the day that I will send out the link to this blog to all my family and friends. I will hope that all of you reading this post have come to visit, support, and help me to find that inner strength. I truly hope that all of you will visit often, comment when you can, and just help me through whatever this is I am going through and hoping to get out of starting this blog.
I love you, Gordon. You are my rock!!
Thank you for giving me the strength to try something new.

Karen, I will faithfully read your blog because I always find everything you have to say interesting and you never fail to inspire me. I love you! Gina
Karen, it's so wonderful that you're doing this. You're now among my "favorites" and I promise to read as often as I can. Love,
Tracy
Girl, I love it!!! It's really scary to start a blog (I think), and so I admire your courage to put yourself out there. I, for one, can't wait to read all of your musings, thoughts, inspirations and discoveries. You've already given me things to think about... I too miss the small things, for whatever reason, and your post is an excellent reminder that I cannot expect to be entrusted with the big until I'm faithful with the little. Love you!
Hi, Karen!
I'm out there 'listening.'
: )
Great idea Karen! I love your comment to Gordon about being your rock. THat is what I engraved in Daves wedding band :)) I hope you are all well. Hello to all the Daigle/Golecs hope to see you soon...the Twarog side!
Love Dave, Mary, Elizabeth and Matthew
Hey Karen, this is great! I know how hard it is to start, and stick, to things.I hope your blog becomes a regular joy, not just a task to master (that would be my challenge!) Good luck and enjoy it! I'm trying to enjoy simple things today. Erin and I are in Madison WI for a few days vacation. I'm trying to slow down and appreciate the smell of a summer lake, the strong breeze and warm sunshine. The things I don't always get to appreciate in NYC!
Hugs,
Anne
Karen,
As always, I am so impressed by you. I always admire your commitment to your loved ones and how you do see the "small things" as the important things. Can't wait to read your blog (now you just have to update it every day!). You are an inspiration to me and I am so blessed to have a friend like you in my life.
Jenn
Hey there! You know I will be here! Love that you are doing this.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for sharing your blog! I don't know what you are going through but I hope you find the answers you are searching for.
Be strong, Ann
Welcome to the world of blogging! I think that what you have started with is great. I find that sometimes the hardest part is titles and narration ('cuz I know most people just go to our blog for pictures)but you have done a great job with those two areas in your first posts. I will add you to our list and look forward to reading more.
Karen, You are amazing! I love you!
Your big sister
So there's this guy who falls into a hole. The walls are so steep he can't climb out. A priest walks by and he calls up, "hey father, can you help me out?" The priest writes out a prayer and throws it down to him. Then a doctor walks by and he calls up, "Hey doc, can you help me out?" The doctor writes out a prescription and tosses it down to him. Then a great friend walks by and he calls up to him, "hey buddy, can you help me out?" His buddy jumps down in the hole. He says, " what the heck are you doing?!?!?! Now we are both down here!" The friend says, "yeah but, I've been down here before and I know the way out."
You can always count on your real, true friends.
